National Blueberry Pancake Day
Did you know that January 28th was National Blueberry Pancake Day?1 Pancakes are one of the world’s oldest and most beloved foods, with origins dating back to the Stone Age. Ancient Greeks and Romans made them with wheat flour, olive oil, honey, and curdled milk, while the English later added spices, sherry, and fruit. Pancakes have since evolved in modern U.S. cuisine to include fruits like blueberries, whose antioxidants and nutrients make blueberry pancakes a delicious and nutritious breakfast favorite.
